General Pest Control Terms in North Carolina

Last Updated: 10/26/2026

What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Our General Pest Control work is limited to the pests, locations, and treatment methods described in the service agreement or work order. The agreement may cover inspection and treatment of common household pests in accessible areas.

It will identify any preparation, access, or follow-up steps that apply. Work involving termites, wood-destroying organisms, wildlife, or other specialized services requires a separate written agreement unless expressly included.

North Carolina structural pest control work is subject to the Structural Pest Control Act, Chapter 106, Article 4C, and applicable pesticide licensing requirements, including N.C. Gen.

Stat. Chapter 143.

We use pesticides according to their labels and FIFRA requirements. Customers should follow label-related directions provided for the service and keep people and pets away from treated areas as instructed.

We handle pesticide containers and disposal under applicable EPA and North Carolina guidance, including NCDA&CS requirements. Our work also follows applicable OSHA Hazard Communication requirements, 29 CFR 1910.1200. These terms do not replace applicable law or agency rules.

Arranging, Changing, or Canceling a Visit

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method we confirm with you. We will agree on a service date or arrival window and may need access to the areas listed in your work order.

Please provide accurate contact details, disclose access restrictions, and complete any preparation instructions before the visit. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible and before the appointment when practical. Any cancellation charge applies only if it was disclosed and accepted in your service agreement.

If conditions at the property differ from what was described, or you request additional work, we will explain the effect on price, timing, or treatment plan before proceeding. A scope change means adding or changing the agreed work.

We will obtain your approval before performing that added work, except where a change is required to comply with law or protect safety. We may reschedule if weather, unsafe conditions, lack of access, or other circumstances prevent service. We will let you know and arrange another visit.

Quotes, Charges, and Payment

An estimate is based on the information available when we prepare it, including the property details, reported pest activity, and requested work. It is not a final charge unless we say so in writing.

The written service agreement or work order will state the approved services and applicable charges. Taxes or other disclosed charges may also apply.

We do not promise that an estimate will remain accurate if the requested work, site conditions, or access needs change.

Payment is due as stated in the agreement or invoice. Before we perform work outside the approved scope, we will describe any added charge and ask for your approval.

You may decline the added work; we may then limit service to the originally agreed tasks or explain why those tasks cannot safely or properly be completed. Please raise billing questions promptly using the contact details below.

No price, payment plan, or financing offer applies unless it is provided to you directly in writing. Nothing in this section changes rights or obligations required by applicable law.

What to Expect About Service Coverage

Any warranty or retreatment coverage applies only if it is stated in your written service agreement or work order. These terms do not create a warranty period, promise a particular pest-free result, or guarantee that pests will not return.

Pest activity can depend on entry points, neighboring properties, sanitation, moisture, weather, and other conditions beyond a treatment visit. Your service documents will explain any applicable coverage, its duration, and the steps needed to request service under it.

Coverage may not apply when a written agreement excludes the pest or location, when required preparation or access is not provided, or when conditions change after treatment. We will review the specific agreement and reported issue before determining whether a return visit is covered or would require a new estimate.

Follow all treatment instructions, including any directions about re-entry, cleaning, and keeping children or pets away from treated areas. Applicable pesticide label directions and legal requirements remain in effect. Contact us if you are unsure what your written coverage includes.

Service Expert at NorthCarolina Pest Solutions

I started in structural pest control in the Charlotte area, learning how to inspect homes and choose treatments suited to the pest and the property. North Carolina’s humid summers, mild stretches of winter, and mix of crawlspaces, older homes, and newer construction shaped how I approach year-round pest prevention.

Responsibility and Applicable Limits

To the extent permitted by law, our responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that led to the claim. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These limits do not exclude responsibility where exclusion is prohibited, including rights that cannot be waived under North Carolina law. Nothing here excuses compliance with pesticide label directions or applicable safety requirements.

Our work is governed by applicable rules, including the North Carolina Structural Pest Control Act, Chapter 106, Article 4C, pesticide applicator licensing provisions in N.C. Gen.

Stat. Chapter 143, and FIFRA.

Pesticide use must follow the product label. Applicable OSHA Hazard Communication requirements, 29 CFR 1910.1200, and North Carolina pesticide disposal guidance, including guidance from NCDA&CS, also apply where relevant.

This section does not expand or reduce duties imposed by those laws. Please report a concern promptly so we can review the service record and circumstances.

Questions or Updates to These Terms

For questions about these terms or a scheduled service, contact NorthCarolina Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@northcarolinapestsolutions.top. Written correspondence may be sent to Bank of America Corporate Center, 100 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC.

Include your name, service address, and appointment or invoice details when available so we can identify the matter. Do not send urgent safety concerns by regular mail; call us and follow the pesticide label or any instructions provided by the applicator.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted where these terms are provided, with an effective date when appropriate.

For changes that materially affect an existing service agreement, we will communicate the change directly or provide notice as required by law. The terms in effect when you approve a service govern that work unless you and we agree otherwise in writing or applicable law requires a different result. Contact us if you need clarification before approving service.
